Meet Our Team
Tammy Schmidt came to work for her father in 1986 and put her organizational talents to work. She has learned the tax and accounting business from the bottom up. She became a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 1999. After the company reorganized in 2005, she became the managing owner. Tammy was instrumental in developing a system to help small business owners focus solely on managing and growing their business, while allowing Branstetter to put in place the accounting and payroll systems needed for continued success. Her other area of specialty is ITIN Applications and Certifications as she is a Certified Acceptance Agent. She also is very experienced in representing foreign sellers in their FIRPTA tax requirements and filings. After 35 years of full time work, Tammy is taking a step back from the day to day management. She will continue to stay active in tax preparation and looks forward to continuing to service her clients, many who have been with her for over 30 years! When Tammy is not working, her favorite place to be is with her grandchildren in Richmond. Her other pastimes are traveling with her husband and spending time with her adult children.
Lauren Bellomo was born in Nassau County Long Island and grew up in a small New Jersey town right outside of New York City. She started as an intern at Branstetter Tax in January of 2016 and immediately fit right in. Lauren was hired as a full time Junior Accountant and bookkeeper shortly after and has continued to flourish and grow with our firm. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and earned her CPA License shortly after. Lauren is now a partner of Branstetter Tax and Accounting Services alongside Tammy and Jennifer. She is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and oversees the daily administrative and operational functions of the business. Lauren specializes in individual tax services and small business bookkeeping and tax preparation. She currently manages the business clients who need weekly payroll processing and bookkeeping and fields any calls related to tax questions that may come up during the off season. When she is not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors, playing guitar, fitness, gardening, and spending time with her family and fur children.
Jennifer L. Jenkins is the daughter of Tammy Schmidt and graduated with her Masters in Accounting from Florida State University in 2011 (Go Noles!). After graduation she accepted a job with one of the Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte, in Atlanta, GA where she worked extensively on large real estate funds and earned her Florida CPA license. It didn’t take long for her to realize her true passion lies in working with small businesses and individuals and who better to learn from than her mother who’d been doing just that for almost 30 years! Since coming onboard to Branstetter team in 2015, Jennifer has taken on the role of our Sr. business tax return specialist, reviewing and preparing almost every business tax return. She assists several small business clients with their payroll, bookkeeping, and quickbooks needs. Jennifer also prepares individual tax returns for our “drop-off” clients. She works remotely from her home office in Richmond, VA with part-time hours revolving around her young children’s schedules. Outside of the office, her three children keep her very busy. She and her family love exploring their new state.
Rachel A. Gallagher was born and raised in a small town in Western Massachusetts. After graduating high school, she continued her education at a local community college. While in college, Rachel was employed at her father’s auto body shop as an office manager. She handled the daily operations of the shop and became very familiar with the Quickbooks program, which made her transition to the Branstetter office manager practically seamless. Rachel is Tammy’s right hand woman and has developed her skills to include providing the day to day bookkeeping and accounting services for many of our clients. When she is not working in the office, she enjoys fishing, cooking, gardening, watching football (Go Eagles), and spending time with her family, friends & her dog, Rosco.
Robyn Harris, who is the youngest daughter of Bob Branstetter has over 30 years of tax and accounting experience. Robyn started working for her father, Bob, while in high school. After high school, Robyn joined the firm full time and quickly worked her way through the office in various positions and eventually became the primary person responsible for the monthly bookkeeping and payroll services for all business clients. Robyn specializes in individual tax services, small business bookkeeping and tax preparation, payroll services, and is a QuickBooks expert. In her free time, Robyn enjoys spending time with her 3 kids, going out on the boat, and is an avid cat lover!
Cristian was born in Bucharest Romania and moved to Florida in 1998. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Starting in 2006 he started to work as an accountant, preparing tax returns and audits. He is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS, specialized in preparation of tax returns for S Corporations and partnerships for medium and large companies, individual tax returns, tax planning, payroll, and write ups. Cristian also runs his own company providing accounting services. When he is not working, Cristian and his wife Alina are taking turns as caddies or training buddies for his aspiring golf pro son, also named Cristian.

Bob started accounting and income tax work as a part-time job in 1967 while working full time as a firefighter in Boca Raton. His interest stemmed from his mother who had been working for the Blum family as an accountant/bookkeeper for a few years. In 1983 Bob decided to open his own accounting and tax firm. He became a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS in 1975. Bob officially retired from Branstetter Tax & Accounting Services in 2020.
